I try to get inspired by everything around me - part of my goal for this project was to help train myself to see the poetic in the everyday experience. So some of my haiku have been inspired by talks with friends, by things I hear in the news, things I see while out on the streets, etc. This one came from seeing the new Star Wars movie and observing people's reactions to it.
